“TIS-Container terminal” set a new record for cargo turnover
According to the press service of “TIS”, in February 2019 “TIS-Container terminal” (“TIS-CT”) set a new record. So, for the month its turnover amounted to 628 263 tons. It is noted that this figure was the largest in eight years of operation of the terminal.
“Our stevedores note that about 95% of the berth time was occupied. The close-knit work of all divisions of “TIS-CT” allowed in February to achieve the intensity of processing of 25-27 thousand tons per day, which is a worthy result for the port industry of Ukraine. The most popular cargo in February were containers, oil and corn from the grain terminal MV Cargo”, the press service of “TIS” said.
Recall that in 2018, “TIS” set five records of cargo handling.
