Ukraine, Turkey and the UN signed an agreement on grain exports

Ukraine, Turkey and the UN have agreed to export grain from Ukrainian ports. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine.

The document was signed by Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and The secretary-general of the United NationsAntonio Guterres. The same document must be signed by representatives of Turkey, the UN and representatives of the aggressor country – the russian federation.

Control of the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi remains with the Ukrainian side. The presence of other vessels in these ports, except for those that are supposed to ensure the export of grain and related food products and fertilizers, is not expected.

The secretary-general once again expressed support for the deblocking of Ukrainian ports and assured that security is an absolute priority of the UN. For its part, the organization will do everything possible to ensure that this principle is observed by all participants in the negotiations.
