The first ship with Ukrainian grain left the Port of Odesa

Today, August 1, the first grain carrier under the flag of Sierra Leone with 26,527 tons of corn left the Port of Odesa and is heading to the port of Tripoli in Lebanon. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.

«Thanks to the support of all partner countries and the UN, we were able to fully implement the agreement signed in Istanbul. It is important for us to be one of the guarantors of food security», said Kubrakov.

The first stop on the way to the Lebanese Republic will be Turkey, where the ship will be inspected by the Joint Coordination Center (JCC).
