Container turnover of seaports of Ukraine for 12 months of 2021 decreased by 2.6%

According to the results of work in 2021, the container turnover of Ukrainian seaports amounted to 1,021,621 TEU, which is 2.6% less than in 2020. The press service of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) reports.

The volume of transshipment compared to the previous year increased the ports: Chornomorsk – by 7.3% – to 25.63 million tons, Olvia – by 31.6% – to 5.14 million tons, Izmail port — by 20.4% — to 3.9 million tons, Reni Sea Port – by 74.3% – to 1.37 million tons, Ust-Dunaysk – by 2.6 times – to 64.3 thousand tons.

A decrease in cargo transshipment was recorded in the ports: the port of Mykolayiv — 29.8 million tons (a decrease of 1.1%), the port of Odessa – 22.55 million tons (a decrease of 3.5%), the port of Mariupol – 6.8 million tons (a decrease of 2.3%).
