In January, Ukrzaliznytsia transported more than 22 million tons of various cargo

In January 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 22.09 million tons of cargo, which is 7.6% less than in January 2020. This is reported by the company’s press service.

«Domestic traffic in January amounted to 9.9 million tons. Import transportation amounted to 3.07 million tons, export — 8.1 million tons, transit – 839.2 thousand tons», — it is said in the message.

The leaders in terms of transportation volume in January were: iron and manganese ores — 6.5 million tons, coal — 4.1 million tons, building materials — 2.5 million tons, grains and ground products — 2.3 million tons, ferrous metals — 1.8 million tons.
