Maersk Makes AE19 Asia to Europe Ocean-Rail Service Permanent

One of the largest sea container carriers in the world, A.P. Moller-Maersk has launched an intermodal service from Asia to Northern Europe (AE19) on a regular basis. This is reported by the press service of the company.

«We are very happy that this product, which was specially created for our customers both in Asia and Europe, is becoming a weekly service and now gets a permanent place in our portfolio. This was made possible by increasing the interest in the service of our customers, who appreciated the attractive transit time and cost competitiveness», said Zsolt Katona, Managing Director of Maersk in Eastern Europe.

Recall that the intermodal service AE19, combining sea and railway transport, previously delivered goods only in the direction of Europe. Now, in partnership with the logistics company Pantos Maersk, we offer delivery in both directions.
