Maersk will not be shipping goods of companies from the sanction list

Maersk Line will not be sending goods for or receive payments from individuals and companies on the US sanction list imposed on Russia. By doing this, Maersk Line supports the boycotts against Russia, imposed by the United States as a consequence of the chemical weapon attack in Syria. The increased sanctions will among other things mean that American ships and ports are not allowed handle goods for Russians who are on the so-called Specially Designated Nationals list.
Recall that on the beginning of April, the US Treasury extended sanctions against the Russian Federation. The expanded list of economic restrictions hit 14 Russian companies, 7 businessmen and 17 officials.
