Ports of Ukraine have improved their position in the Global Competitiveness Rating

For the fourth year in a row, the seaports of Ukraine have improved their positions in the Global Competitiveness Rating (Global Competitiveness Report 2018), compiled by the method of World Economic Forum. In the latest version of the rating, port services and infrastructure of Ukraine received a score of 3.5 points, and according to this indicator, our country took 77th place.
As noted by the head of the USPA, Raivis Veckagans, the results of the global competitiveness ranking is a realistic assessment of the changes that are occurring in the port industry and the logistics of the country as a whole. In the draft Strategy for the Development of Sea Ports of Ukraine until 2038, the position in this rating is one of the key indicators of the efficiency of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
Note that in 2017, Ukraine ranked 93rd, and the leader of the current rating in the port industry is Singapore.
