Ukrainian exports to Russia for the year decreased by almost a third

In 2016, exports of goods from Ukraine to Russia fell by more than 27%. On this day, February 8, 2017, at the Cabinet meeting said the head of the state service of statistics of Igor Werner.

I. Werner noted that the volume of exports last year declined, but we can talk about a significant rate of reduction in rate of decline. The exports to EU countries increased in comparison with 2015 by 3.1% and reached the level of 37.3%, i.e. $12.2 billion.

“Exports to Russia decreased by 27.4% and in total exports was only 9.8 percent,” said Werner.

He also noted that among the major partner countries exports of goods increased in India, Hungary, Poland, Egypt, Netherlands and Germany.

The head of the state statistics service noted that in comparison with January — November 2015, significantly increased the export volumes of agricultural products — sunflower oil, wheat, sugar, poultry meat, sunflower seed; production mashinostroitelnoe — cars train, tram, cast iron, treated timber.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that in 2016, the exports of Ukrainian agricultural products to European countries increased almost by 1.6% compared to 2015, and amounted to $4.24 billion
