After the cargo arrived in Warsaw, all necessary customs procedures were completed. Then, for delivery to Ukraine, consolidated road transport was chosen, which ensured an optimal balance between cost and speed of transportation.

As a result, the cargo was promptly delivered directly to the client’s warehouse in Kyiv.

Our team successfully delivered an ice equipment via the route Lviv — Warsaw — San Diego (USA)

The main challenge lay in the specifics of the cargo itself, as the presence of refrigerant required strict adherence to aviation safety rules, special declaration, and thorough document verification.
The cargo was transported from Lviv to Warsaw Airport, then shipped to the USA, where the transit time was only 2 days. Upon arrival in the USA, we ensured final door-to-door delivery to the buyer in San Diego.

Thanks to coordinated work and experience with specific cargo, the entire journey from the Ukrainian warehouse to the American client was optimized and executed in the shortest possible time 🌐

We are sharing details of a realized international shipment of a combine harvester on a low-bed trailer.

– Route: Germany → Ukraine
– Cargo: oversized agricultural machinery
– Additional work: dismantling and securing the header, preparation of transport documents, escorting the cargo along the entire route

The combine was prepared for safe transportation in accordance with requirements. The header was dismantled and placed separately on the platform, while the machinery itself was securely fastened with specialized straps and chains to prevent shifting during transit.

Such shipments require clear logistics and coordination, which in the end guarantees safe and timely delivery.

As part of the project, the GOL team ensured the prompt receipt of the cargo at a warehouse in Poland and its transloading into 20’DV containers. Our team has successfully completed the transportation of 20 BESS containers with a total capacity of 120 MW via the route: Shanghai — Gdańsk — Kyiv Region. This cargo required exceptional attention to safety, meticulous coordination at every stage, and strict adherence to international standards for transporting lithium-ion systems.

To ensure maximum safety and meet all technical requirements, High Cube (HC) containers were utilized, perfectly suited to the specific nature of the cargo.

For the transportation of this special equipment, various types of 40-foot containers were used. Fire trucks were placed on 9 Flat Rack platforms to ensure the secure fastening of oversized units. At the same time, ambulances were delivered in 31 High Cube containers — the increased height of these containers provided the necessary space for safe sea transit.

The Global Ocean Link team recently completed a compelling case study involving a full-cycle logistics solution for a tobacco manufacturer.
The first stage involved the delivery of cigarette filters from Malaysia to Ukraine under FCA terms, requiring strict adherence to specific temperature and humidity levels. The transportation was carried out with transshipment in Gdansk or Koper. Throughout all stages, the cargo was transported in refrigerated conditions, with each pallet equipped with a data logger to continuously monitor temperature and humidity along the entire route. Upon arrival, the client verified the logger data and confirmed that there were no deviations.
Following production, these filters are used to manufacture cigarettes, after which we manage the export of the finished goods to Saudi Arabia via the Port of Constanta. This process is also handled in reefers, maintaining rigorous temperature and humidity control at every stage of transport.

The Global Ocean Link team continues to expand the geography of complex logistics projects. Recently, we successfully executed the air transportation of chemical products classified as ADR (dangerous goods) on a route via Frankfurt to Nigeria.

The cargo was packaged in strict accordance with ADR requirements, ensuring safe transportation and full compliance with international regulations for the carriage of dangerous goods. Logistics coordination and delivery support were managed by Associate Partner Anna Khakhva, who ensured control over all stages of transportation—from cargo pickup to its departure through the international air hub.

Thanks to seamless teamwork and precise coordination of all processes, the cargo was delivered to the recipient within one week from the moment of pickup.
